Established in 2013, LTI Korea Outstanding Service Award recognizes remarkable achievements by individuals and groups who have taken the lead in introducing Korean literature abroad. Recommendations are accepted from overseas cultural centers and literary institutes at home and abroad.
Candidates are evaluated against the following criteria: translation-related awards won in the past, research activities undertaken for the globalization of Korean literature, participation in exchange activities, and achievements in nurturing talent in the fields of Korean studies and Korean literature overseas.
